Dear Parents,
Welcome to On the Barre's 7th dance season! We're sure that this will be our best season yet! Please read below to find out what's happening at On the Barre including a price reduction on the NYC trip, a new kindergarten dance class and more!  New York City Trip-
NEW PRICE!
The price of our New York City trip to see the Rockettes has been lowered. Join us now for only $135 per person! The trip will be on Sunday, December 6, 2009. The bus will pick us up at the studio in the morning then we're off to Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular show and then there will be free time for sightseeing, shopping and dining! Should be a great trip! If you're interested in going payment is due in full by October 1st.

New Kindergarten Combo Class!
We're adding another Kindergarten Ballet & Tap dance class on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-5:20 p.m. Interested in signing up? Please let us know. The class will start once we have enough sign-ups.

 Tuition Reminder
Just a reminder that tuition is due the first class of every month. Any tuition received after the 15th of the month is considered late and a $10 late fee will be added. No bills will be sent home. If tuition is overdue, an invoice will be sent first via email and then by mail. Remember- we do have an auto pay program and we do accept Visa, MasterCard and debit cards for your convenience.
NEW! All-inclusive tuition program!!
Your dance tuition is now all-inclusive and includes the price of your child's recital costume rental fees, a recital t-shirt and tights, 2 tickets to the show and a recital DVD. We hope you like our new program!

Welcome to OTB!
We would like to welcome our new OTB staff members- Todd Daily, Maeghen Reineke and Kim DeCost. We know they will be excellent additions to our already great faculty.

 Music Together is here!
Old Colony Music Together is delighted to be offering classes at On the
Barre Studio on Fridays at 9:30 AM. Music Together is a
developmentally appropriate, research based music and movement program
for children birth through five years old and their parents and
caregivers. Children and their caregivers meet for 45 minutes, once a
week to sing, rhyme, do fingerplays and movement, dance and play a
variety of rhythm instruments. The teacher, Karen Rodgers is a well
loved, well educated and experienced facilitator who brings along her
flute every week. You will take home 2 copies of the award winning
music along with a beautifully illustrated songbook and DVD parent
guide. Classes begin on September 18th and continue for 10 weeks. If
you need to miss a class, we have a liberal make up policy. The cost
is $160 for the first child and $100 for additional siblings over 9
months (under 9 months attend for free!) To register, visit

JOIN US FOR THE NORTON HALLOWEEN PARADE! Sunday, October 25th at 12 p.m.
A sign-up sheet is in the studio waiting room. We need a flatbed truck for our spooktacular float- if you know of anyone willing to help out, please let us know.

| Bring a Friend to dance week is coming soon! Monday, October 26th-Saturday, October 31st we invite your child to bring a friend to their regularly .scheduled dance class with them for some Halloween fun!

The studio will be closed
Saturday, October 10th-Monday, October 12th for Columbus Day Weekend.

Mark your calendars!
Our 2010 recital date is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, June 13th at Friedman Middle School in Taunton. Dress rehearsal is scheduled for Friday evening, June 11th. More information will be available later in the dance year.
Recital Costumes
Just a reminder to our new students about our costume program- your costume fees are included in the price of your monthly tuition. Costume fees include the purchase of a costume leotard, tights and a recital t-shirt which are yours to keep as well as the rental of all costume accessories (pants, tutus, hats, etc.) which the studio keeps to use in future productions. Our costume program saves you money and helps reduce,
reuse, recycle!
