What does my dancer wear to class?

Please remember that every female, or female-identifying dancer, must wear a leotard, tights, proper dance shoes and their hair pulled back in a ponytail or bun to every dance class. Ballet dancers may wear a skirt. Jazz, Tap, Acro & Lyrical dancers may wear a skirt or shorts. Hip-hop dancers may wear anything comfortable (no restrictive clothing) OVER their leotard and tights. Male dancers, or male-identifying dancers, must wear athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and proper dance shoes. Non-binary dancers may choose which dress code to follow. Dancers who do not have the proper dress code may not be allowed to participate in class.

Ballet-pink ballet shoes

Acrobats -bare feet

 Happy Feet & Level 1 Tap - tan velcro or buckle tap shoes

Level 2 & up Tap - black tap shoes

We sell Revolution Dancewear brand products both in person and in our online store. You are not required to purchase through us, but we find it does make the process easy and convenient.

We currently sell all dance shoes as outlined in our dress code above, leotards in a variety of colors and sizes, ballet skirts, shorts, fun skirted leotards/tutus, nude leotards (undergarment), and branded OTB gear like dance bags and t-shirts. Shoes need to be sized for all students before we place your order. We take payment at the time of order, either in person or through your parent portal. Anything you do not see in stock at the studio can be ordered, and orders normally take about a week to two weeks to come in, so please plan ahead! We do not take returns of any kind on any of our retail items. An exchange may be made of equal or lesser value.

*Please note: If you are purchasing shoes online, we strongly recommend coming in to get sized first. We are not responsible for improperly sized shoe orders. Any discounts only apply in person at the studio.
